Dr. Frank Cuypers is a nuclear engineer, holds an MSc in nuclear physics, a PhD in theoretical physics, has extensive experience as a lecturer and an outstanding scientific track record in modelling complex systems. He is a member of the German and Swiss Actuarial Associations and currently chairs the Swiss Committee for Continuing Education. As former Chief Actuary of Swiss Re and at Zurich Re in Cologne, Dr. Frank has broad experience in most actuarial disciplines and lines of business, which he used to advise leading (re)insurers at KPMG and PwC.

Kraus' research is focused on intelligent agents and multi-agent systems (including people and robots). In particular, she studies the development of intelligent agents that can interact proficiently with people and with robots. Professor Kraus studies both cooperative and conflicting scenarios. She considers modeling human behaviour and predicting their decisions necessary for facing these challenges as well as the development of formal models for the agent's decision making. Professor Kraus has also contributed to the research on machine learning, agent optimisation, autonomous vehicles, homeland security, adversarial patrolling, social networks and nonmonotonic reasoning.

Dr. Valery Golender has a PhD in artificial intelligence and machine learning. He has used AI and other advanced technologies for over 20 years.
