Swiss start-up makes Ukraine safe
The Zug-based Insurtech kasko2go is expanding abroad. The start-up of founder Genadi Man is now working together with the Canadian insurance group Fairfax. It is now launching an automobile insurance policy in Ukraine that is based on telematic premiums. These vary depending on the driving behaviour of the customer. Kasko2go has already been offering such insurance policies in Switzerland since last year – in this country with Dextra as a partner. At the time, they announced to the “Handelszeitung” that they would soon be on the road with their own insurance license. “I’m sure we can do it,” he said in September. Ukraine is half a step back to Man’s roots: he comes from Russia.
